I'm a professional visual artist. What this means is that I'm not a professional copy writer, so if pictures are worth 1000 words and you've (hopefully) browsed my site, then you've already read somewhere around a 50,000 word essay which describes me better than I can do with words. That being said, if you like images like I do, just take a peek at the other pages on my site. If you like food and can imagine I were a pie, I would be 30% dad/husband, 25% colorist, 15% programmer, 10% cinematographer, 10% photographer, 10% musician, 10% gamer. You may say that adds up to too much pie, but is there such a thing? Now, if you still would rather read good 'ol fashioned words, then you can continue reading my bio.

I currently work at Roundabout Entertainment, Inc. in Burbank, CA as a colorist. This doesn't mean I get to play with crayons for a living (but that would be awesome, wouldn't it?). Instead, I work with other artists, directors, and cinematographers, bringing their images to life and making every frame of a motion picture beautiful and meaningful. I'm kind of a Swiss Army Knife of post-production, as I have spent time in every facet of the process, from on-set dailies to editing, VFX, color and finishing. This makes me extremely versatile in various workflows and project types.

During my career in the film business I've worked on projects both on-set and post-production including titles such as Anabelle, Series of Unfortunate Events, Wilfred, The Shallows, and videos for artists such as Zedd, Chromeo, Dawn Richard, and K Michelle.

Outside of work, I'm a tech junkie and musician. I've played piano for over 20 years and am a self-taught guitarist. As a kid I used to make everything from lens adapters to camera dollies, a steadi-cam, speakers, and more. I still love taking electronics apart and will most likely try to join Battle Bots with my children as soon as they are old enough to hold a soldering iron. I am proficient in several programming languages, and I can also say hello in Russian.
